 looks great!

LMBmikeZ 07-30-2015 04:40 AM

:iagree:

I currently have things in the works and will have close to the same combination of eagle's car with both new and old Nismo features  :excited:

I am hoping to finish my bumper this long weekend. I am shaving (filling really lol) my front bumper for that clean no emblem look. :yum:

Prices may not be accurate for your Nissan dealer but were close to what I paid (minus tax).

You will need a center emblem (Nissan) as well.

Just checked my local stealership and for the front bumper alone they want $600+:gtfo2:

I've been searching for any other emblem besides the standard. What are the options out there?

Did you go to the dealership, or go to Nissan USA eStore and choose the dealer as the pickup location? If you go there directly, they will charge you whatever the hell they want. Try the online tool and compare multiple dealers in your area.

Did you double check the bumper for damage before taking it? The first one they tried to give me was damaged!

HngNgn19 08-07-2015 03:51 PM

Yea, I checked to make sure it was the right front bumper and for any damages. Btw you can get the front bumper for around 380 on CZP plus shipping.... But if you do buy it there, make sure to ship it to the Shop you're painting it because that will save for on shipping to a business vs shipping to residential area. Residential is more expensive for some reason

I know I'm beating a dead horse here but I want to be sure I am not missing anything or if there as anything someone would recommend.

FBM22-6GA0H Front bumper $387
62087-6GA0A MOULDING Red insert $25
62086-6GA0A MOULDING Red insert $25
62077-6GA0A MOULDING Vertical insert $9
62076-6GA0A MOULDING Vertical insert $9
62064-6GA0B PROTECTOR Fender liner filler $10
62064-6GA0A PROTECTOR Fender liner filler $10
62023-6GA0A Tow Hook Cover Piece $6
63844-6GA0A Liner Front Fender Drivers Side $49
63844-6GA0A Liner Front Fender Passenger Side $49

I have duplicate part numbers for the passenger side fender liner at the bottom of the list. What is the correct part number for the drivers side?

Are there any hardware pieces that I need other than the screws and tabs that already hold in our base bumpers?

I plan to wing it with the under tray I have now and if I need it after test fitting, I'll purchase.

HngNgn19 08-07-2015 05:34 PM

This is the other part number for the fender lining. I don't see any bolts or screws but I'm sure you can purchase those at your local hardware store for a few bucks.

63845-6GA0A Liner Front Fender Drivers Side $49

LMBmikeZ 08-07-2015 09:25 PM

FYI Canadian owners looking at dealerships there is currently low levels of inventory available. Last week when I went in parts guy was only seeing 3 full sets of '15+ Nismo F&R bumpers and side skirts.

well now there is only 2 sets of side skirts and 2 rear bumpers available  because I just picked up mine

nice color match. did they blend the neighboring panels or just painted the bumper only?

lesper4 08-10-2015 02:19 PM

When is someone going to make carbon fiber accents instead of red?

Daishi9000 08-10-2015 02:20 PM

Thanks! they did a pretty good job matching the color. just the bumper was painted. you can't see it too well but the bottom lip and mid lip are a charcoal grey with some metalic.

Walked into the dealership and was quoted $600+ for the bumper alone.
After telling them hell no, parts dealer then told me they can go as low as $530 "Their cost":icon17:

I can't seem to find anything on the Nissan USA estore with the given part numbers..

Daishi9000 08-11-2015 02:37 PM

i got my parts from a dealership, but a friend hooked me up with employee discount. it was cheaper than this website i almost used to buy the parts.
i'm sure there are other online stores.

moore.speed 08-11-2015 02:40 PM

I was told by the dealer that it would be $512.78 at both Nissan dealers near me, within 30 miles of each other. When I spoke to the second dealer, I explained the pricing online and how it was beating that price, even shipped. I was told they would match the pricing.

Fortunately, I was hooked up with a employee discount as well from Nissan via a relative, however, I was speaking with the parts dealer at my local dealership and they mentioned that shop/store owners apparently receive some sort of discount... You can try going to a auto body shop and see if they can order the parts for you at a discounted price. Worth a shot, good luck.

ZinEU 08-12-2015 02:22 PM

I'm definitely going to be doing the front bumper/skirts when I get back from the desert. My only question is do I need to buy the 62064-6GA0B PROTECTOR Fender liner filler if I'm getting the 63844-6GA0A Liner Front Fender? Thanks.

Oh and can we all agree it looks best on the PW? Haha, maybe im biased :happydance:

Did anybody solve the undertray problem? Got a different one? The 2015 Nismo undertray?

CanadianSteel 08-28-2015 04:07 PM

What about any alternatives for the Nismo badge? other than filling the holes with some body work of course.

HngNgn19 08-28-2015 04:16 PM

you can pick a sticker of your choice over it! lol
