1. The ebay tow hooks everyone uses (including me) are too short, and the hook part lays on a painted part of the bumper. No bueno.

2. My body shop said they couldnt fit the undertray and bottom of the fender wells to the bumper. Im gonna get under it and see if I can do it, if not I will order the 2015 parts.

Ignore the missing emblem, it was supposed to be delivered yesterday but didnt show up. Hopefully today!

Also, does ANYONE yet make anything for the DRL holes?

could you post some more pics from the side? want to see how the side blades line up with the new nismo front bumper

I will post more pics once i get the emblems taken care of and a few more things lined up right. Needless to say, its doesnt line up AS nice as the Sunline style lip did, the Nismo bumper/lip is a bit higher. Ill let you judge for yourself when i get the shots up.

Looks great Sir and keep the front clear (without the Emblem):tup:

KaienZ34 07-07-2015 01:12 PM

CS is doing a full lip kit (looks cool, makes me want the new nismo body) for it and LED's.

Thanks! Unfortunately not an option, there is a spot in the bumper for the emblem to go, but don't worry, i didn't go with the standard chrome emblem.

KaienZ34 07-08-2015 12:34 PM

He was saying, drop the emblem and shave it like he did.

LostSol 07-08-2015 01:08 PM

Its already been painted and installed, im not paying for more body work. The only reason I was able to afford this in the first place is I hit a deer on my way out of Zdayz and needed a new front bumper anyways, insurance was buying.

Does anyone know the part number for the tow hook cover?

Looking at the part numbers, as well as the kits offered online, it appears that you just need the bumper and the Side Retaining Brackets. There are different part numbers for the nismo rear fender liners, so the non-nismo ones may not line up perfectly, but I dont know yet.

KaienZ34 07-15-2015 02:18 PM

Does the one from Z1 have all the parts needed?

2015 NISMO 370Z Front Fascia Kit

It looks like it has everything but the LED's and emblems.

LostSol 07-15-2015 02:21 PM

Z1 kit kills you on shipping, your best bet is to order the parts online through your nearest nissan dealer and pick them up. Let me know if you need the parts list

Prices may not be accurate for your Nissan dealer but were close to what I paid (minus tax).

You will need a center emblem (Nissan) as well.

LostSol 07-17-2015 02:58 PM

Also to note, the non-nismo fender liners DO NOT properly fit with the bumper, however if you are comfortable with an imperfect fit (using zip ties to keep it close) they will work. Id suggest spending the extra $100 for a perfect fit.

Another note, the non-nismo Zspeed undertray also DOES NOT properly fit. You can connect it to the bumper, but then it sags in the middle (the 3 center connectors cannot touch) or you can connect the 3 center connectors but then the bumper connector area is 1.5" above the bumper connection points.

We have a shield for the 15 Nismo now, We are using our original 370z aluminum shield but are including a kit to space the center down with nut inserts for the core support and spacers for that area as well pre attached to the shield, This allows it to be directly bolted to the core support area where the plastic push clips normally would go.

Any chance those of us who have the shield and did the conversion can purchase just the spacers???

I hope this isn't too far off subject, since we are talking about the conversion from stock to nismo...

...anyone have information on the newer nismo wheel arch extensions? I checked out a nismo at the dealership and they look very simple to install. They do not add a lot of width, but my reason for wanting them is to protect my fenders from other car doors

I need the part number and maybe a pm on price :)

cooltoy 07-19-2015 12:37 PM

Front and Rear overfender kit.

There are some aftermarket ones available, but I am not sure of how the price compares.

J-next and Central 20 make them I believe.
