I'd have to look at the bumper again, but I am pretty sure that area on the left and right sides are the only easily removable pieces. Everything else is molded in.

That being said. I placed my order for the 2015 front bumper and finishers just a few minutes ago. Hopefully the wait for the next batch won't be too long.

KaienZ34 08-26-2014 01:20 PM

First set sold out?

aszyd 08-26-2014 01:24 PM

Yes.

In my e-mail convo, he said that they only received like three pieces in the first order. I assume that they either sold out extremely quickly, or they were purchased for their race cars and were not sold to the public.

martin82 08-26-2014 04:23 PM

just call and place your order they were getting more this week.

That's what I ended up doing. They try their best with e-mail, but with how busy the shop is, electronic communication is not their highest priority. They are more than willing to take a phone order though! Even got my PayPal invoice out to me quickly afterwards. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences with Z1.

Awesome thread! Subbed. Looking forward to seeing a finished product fitted. I feel like bumper is more aggressive looking than the standard front, still good ground clearance

ufoz8mycow 08-27-2014 11:45 AM

I feel like whoever gets their hands on a set of the DRLs and makes a cheaper alternative that works with this bumper and looks good is going to make a lotttt of money.

Thats the same thing I said:tiphat:

BTW, love your username!

aszyd 08-27-2014 02:52 PM

Aftermarket lights don't seem to be a big seller on the 370z, so I doubt the DRLs will ever be produced.

EDIT: ZSpeed Performance now has the front bumper listed. Their link just happened to have the part number as well FBM22-6GA0H! parts.nissanusa.com was also redesigned, but does not feature the new Nismo. I like the changes though.

KaienZ34 08-27-2014 03:28 PM

Nice find, a few other sites have it also for $370.

Clear Direct Fit 03 05 Nissan 350Z 7 LED Bumper Reflector Daytime Running Lights | eBay

Probably garbage, but what if they were used as a mold?

cooltoy 08-28-2014 10:48 PM

So I am going to play a bit of a party pooper here, but I don't think a pre 2015 Z can take the new Nismo rear without the new wing as well. The new wing overlays the whole rear portion of the hatch, thus making the hatch thicker. The rear bumper has to stick out further then the previous years to compensate for the extra thickness. So if one were to put the bumper on without changing to the new wing, there will be an edge there. Does anyone agree?

martin82 08-29-2014 02:46 AM

Not really worried http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/29/4ata3yda.jpg

aszyd 08-29-2014 06:39 AM

Looking at the picture, I don't think there will be a problem. The hatch might be a little thicker due to the spoiler, but I doubt Nissan made another mold for the rear bumper over a few mm difference.

lesper4 09-02-2014 12:12 PM

I just heard back from iJDMtoy that they are in the process of making a LED light for the 2015 Nismo Bumper. I believe they already have them for the 350Z where the orange reflector is.

KaienZ34 09-02-2014 12:15 PM

I also know at least one other company that is definitely working on something cheaper than the factory DRL's.

But will it look as good?

lesper4 09-02-2014 07:08 PM

I think once I see the first finished product I will make the dive in all the way!

Waiting for same shouldn't be much longer I hope some guys should have taken delivery at least.

Shotta 09-02-2014 08:06 PM

Maybe the holes left for the drop can be used for brake cooling.

martin82 09-02-2014 11:38 PM

Mine should be here hopefully in a week? I know they were waiting for another front bumper

martin82 09-02-2014 11:39 PM

If your goal is to chop off all of that stuff, why not just buy a Stillen fascia? Those look quite close to your shopped pic.

martin82 09-03-2014 04:47 PM

I already have stillen bumper and it's just way too heavy and it actually warps when it's hot at the track! You can sort off see the warping in this pic but its worse now... and WAY too heavy, and doesn't even clip on by the headlights!

That's a shame! I would have thought that Stillen's stuff would be of higher quality.

Same story with their splitter. They don't make good exterior components, only good engine ones.

lesper4 09-10-2014 10:55 AM

Any update yet?

martin82 09-10-2014 11:15 AM

Have not received mine yet hopefully soon

Keithbeeesh 09-10-2014 01:12 PM

hey rfisc2170, Im in a similiar predicament. Some Dbag hit my bumper in a parking lot and messed up the whole allignment of my bumper as well as slightly cracking some of it. Needless to say i hope he gets hit by a car himself. regardless i just looked up the price for the bumper and its roughly 500$. They have 3 different options though, one for base/touring Z's (no year specified). 1 for Nismo's up till 13' and then 1 for nismos and 14' model or newer. heres the link to nissans website where i found all the info

Nissan USA eStore

hope this helps. Its a little confusing on the site but they have all the parts there.

Preorder /interest page is up http://www.the370z.com/body-interior...ml#post2960328

aszyd 09-10-2014 07:53 PM

My status has been "Contact Customer" for several days now and they have not reached out. I need to take a break during work and figure out what's going on. This is a first for Z1, they are usually on top of their game.

Asheth 09-10-2014 08:07 PM

I talked to Z1 today they don't have the pricing for the 4 mounts that go under the fascia yet. Not sure if you guys ordered those or not but they are still waiting for those prices.

martin82 09-11-2014 02:07 PM

My front bumper, rear bumper and front 2 pieces (red) shipped today. Cf pieces should be made soon after!

lesper4 09-11-2014 03:04 PM

Are you making or having the CF pieces made or is a company doing it for mass production?

KaienZ34 09-11-2014 03:15 PM

I think he is doing his own.

martin82 09-11-2014 03:51 PM

It will be produced by a forum vendor as soon as I receive it and have more updates I will let you guys know!

Asheth 09-11-2014 04:12 PM

Martin when is your estimated delivery date? Going to test fit? Interested to know if those under mounts are needed or not.

martin82 09-11-2014 04:39 PM

I would guess it's shipping fedex ground so almost a week or so to the west coast.

Prototyper5 09-12-2014 01:43 PM

I can make the front wing pieces out of CF or any laminate for that matter. I will have to see how they are attached, convert the wing pieces into plugs and make molds. Basically I will make complete CF replacements, either with prepreg 1k plain weave or 2k twill CF, raw or clear gel coated,etc..Not wrapped or overlayed originals parts. I'm going to be ordering the '15 NISMO kit in a few weeks from Juan in the vendor section for my own car and also going to prototype new items with them using my Z. This sounds like something I can make relatively easy. If there is enough interest you guys won't have to worry, I'll just make them. Pricing would be up in the air until I can see the original in person and see how they mount exactly. Anyways, not trying to thread jack, cheers'
