Can you install this bumper with the Zspeed undershroud?
|
Anyone mechanically inclined and access to a 3D printer? Perhaps one can create a mold that can be bolted onto the bumper, but also be able to rig one of these up:
X.DRL - LED Lighting From The Retrofit Source That's what I would do if I wanted to install DRLs. Bleh, but hey it's cheaper than the OEM ones. |

Haha I know lol!! You were a big big part in helping me decide how I wanted to go about putting this all together! Thanks a ton! Now I need to order a duckbill spoiler I think. I'm thinking about the Carbon Signal Type N as it doesn't come up as high as the aerojacket. |
It looks good. Enjoy.

Any updates on anyone making carbon fiber add on pieces?

If you guys give me a heads up on how many want the front 2 pieces in CF, I will make them..... but without knowing how many are willing to commit it's not worth forking the money for the mold.
|
How is the wiring for the DRL's? Is it really involved or is it close to plug and play? Did you have to take apart interior panels for the wiring? I'm on the fence about getting the front if the wiring is a PITA...lemme know

Just my 2 cents my friend! |
Anything can be done with molding and cutting, you should know that Carlos after your lip mod. Question is the cost. Yes, they are different, but how much different? The 2014 DRLs seem flatter then the 2015 Nismo DRLs, so who knows how they would integrate.
|
If someone lets me borrow the 2015 DRL I can 3d scan and see if we can make an adapter piece to run with aftermarket DRL or something.... IF there is a demand

OK for those of you who have done the rear bumper is there anything special I need to know. From what I read there are fender extenders also for the rear is that correct? Any other parts besides the bumper and accents needed? Anything I need to forewarn the body shop about so I am prepared.
My plans got accelerated on doing this thanks to someone behind me deciding a red light meant don't slow down or even stop. |

What site is the best to buy the kit with DRL's
|
|
in my personal opinion... dont liked :/ I think they have to change the other parts (side skirts and rear bumper) to make a cleaner look...
But like I said... its my opinion... If the owner likes how it looks great haha!! cause that at the end of the day is what really matters  |
The new side skirts are part of what makes the 2015 look so different. It creates an entirely different visual side profile of the car. It's amazing how little that front bumper does on the Nismo pictured above with the absence of the side skirts.

Fits the under shroud, just have to make a few new holes in the shroud. Only thing you are missing, finding all those parts. Took me 2.5 months to track everything down. Parts are being painted finally now. Skirts, bumper, spats.

Your list looks like you are missing the 15 fender liners. They come down farther and extend out a little closer to the edge of the bumper. http://i.imgur.com/CNuokRQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/d7wFWVA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/G8ttp4d.png http://i.imgur.com/UGP0BRX.png |

Edit: looking at the pics Azyd posted http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ml#post2973034 It looks like the difference is minimal between the two. So the extenders probably could work with the old liners. |
I got the bumper that Joe @ Zspeed used for mocking up his undershroud. Mine should be out of paint the end of next week. Monterey Blue, instead of the gun metal I went with paint match silver to the shrouds-z turn markers-door handles, and candy tangelo orange to match the current candy orange pieces I have on the car. The Monterey blue is getting blended into the door on the passenger side since I needed a new fender on that side as well painted. Front bumper, passenger fender, side skirts, aerojacket rear spats, passenger door mirror-window trim-handle removed and reinstalled, blending the door $1500
