All the same im sure its always MY car that gets bombarded.

Birds have excellent eyesight, especially for movement. I believe they have reasonably good color perception too, so that finding makes sense.

Notwithstanding where you park, birdshit is primarily white, so it will be especially noticeable on a black car.
