Improving stock HID Bulbs?

I've had Philips Ultinon D2S 6000K bulbs for nearly two years now with no problems. Once you go over 5000K to 6000K-ish you begin to lose visibility but I think

Once you go over 5000K to 6000K-ish you begin to lose visibility but I think 6000K is ideal. Great even during inclement weather at night.
