Front bumper air intakes

I can't decide. I'm not great with design. What flows/better? 1. Or 2.

Christ they're both so ugly.

What intake do you have? Also, would you get a better front bumper all together? Knowing your posts it looks like you want a race car, and the OEM bumper isn't a good one. Stillen would solve a few problems in one shot

My intake. To me spending little as possible is best. No need for a new bumper. Make a front splitter that reaches far back and call it a day. I'm sure this bumper is good enough. I don't get any worse mpg than a nismo so the drag must still be ok.

I forgot about your home made intake.
Why not cut parts out under the bumper like the Stillen's bumper?

I beg to differ. Without proper prep work and paint, any good thing will look like crap. I think mine came out great.

1.

Or 2.

Neither, you need a hi-pressure area and the best place is from the base of the windscreen (oops .. sorry, windshield)

Paint and prep has no bearing on the sun heating the bumper up and deforming it.

Yeah, I have. I've actually seen it in person. His isn't painted. Mine is... It doesn't deform at all, is much more rigid after prep and paint

Disagree. My Stillen bumper is way more rigid prepped and painted

It's just a matter of time if you drive the car hard, I do 140's several times a year to about top speed also, the bumper is just too heavy for what it is. Out in the summer on track bumper just flexes like crazy, out in the cold is fine. The top sags and just too damn heavy. Thinking of putting stock bumper back w varis lip or ings bumpers or wait for big one coming out

Besides being lower I see no difference than with brake duct cooling lines. They're holes on the front bumper and seem to work for people. I will say this though, seeing people sell stillen cai the filters are ALWAYS filthy in one spot. Mine are dirty too and its in the very back against the radiator in like a one inch section so some crazy airs going on in there.
