By the looks of it I think you're going to have a tough time fixing that lip. Whatever you do its going to show. You could try and glue it

By the looks of it I think you're going to have a tough time fixing that lip. Whatever you do its going to show. You could try and glue it back together temporarily or add a thin top layer of wrap or plastic and paint it black to match.
