Question From Nismo to Stillen Front Fascia: Bolt On Replacement or More Involved Than That?

If I decide to keep my Nismo, I need to route air to the brakes for track use. One option I have been entertaining is swapping the Nismo front fascia for the Stillen to include their brake cooling kit. Does anyone know if its a simply bolt on replacement with minor body shop modifications, or is it more involved and costly than that?

I tried searching but only seemed to find nonNismo to Nismo threads.

I guess another way of looking at it is, what's involved going from non-nismo to NISMO because more than likely the Stillen front end is meant to fit the non-nismo, right?

The only difference between the NISMO front end and the non-nismo are the Autech/Yamaha dampeners, the under tray and the fender liners.

Other than that...the bumpers clip on and bolt on exactly the same. I'd check out Stillen's website and read through their install manual.

Looks like there is some drilling, windshield washer reservoir needs to be moved, some gluing is involved. I dunno, read through it and let us know.

Good recommendation and it does seem pretty straight forward. I wonder if the under tray is different between a Nismo and nonNismo?

Or you can do this and keep the Nismo.

Check out the pics in the beginning of this thread

That is a side by side comparison of the two under trays

There is a differenace between the two. If you go with the Stillen nose. Use the Z1 tray. It will save you some money. Unless you buy a used tray.

Roger that, thanks for the responses. I guess it's a cost/benefit/preference decision. The vents mentioned by cooltoy above seems to be the most cost effective solution.

The RC brake ducts. I did them. All total, think I have about $1,500 in them. Go to my journal. My brake ducts start on page 5 and goes throught to page 7. The Z1 tray there too.
