It's either the dummy plug or real plug with harness depending the model. However, there is NO power going into it. If you are planning to use the plug, you need to tap into a power source. There are many threads discussing about this plug.

It is the plug that they use for the rear fog light.

But it doesn't work without a relay added in the USDM cars

you can actually get a working fog light with this plug without the need for a relay. Check my DIY below

Actually a pretty good deal, you get both the control and the light for < 200 bucks.

Now just need a DIY on replacing it

The above kit is the right hand drive version tho... I would recommend the Cdn version for left hand drive...

if im not mistaken, its the plug that controls the lock/unlock feature from the trunk. Took me a couple months to realize there was an additional button there besides the trunk release lol. Reason i say this is after i got rear-ended, that harness was dangling and when i removed it, i no longer could unlock the doors from the trunk area. Or i could be wrong and its another harness right next to the one you posted. Enjoying the daily showers on island? hafa dai!!!!

Wow so it isn't just plug n play, more like plug. Buy more plugs then play...thanks everyone for the help, I was just curious as to what this plug is for

@tweezy
Idk if its for the trunk maybe or maybe not, but the top piece looks like a cap or something and I hate the damn random showers we get here, I just washed my car , took it out to the store and BAM rains hard for 2 minutes then nothing but sun...but I live this place :

Default Wheel?

So the Canadian Z has the fog light, didn't realize that and you are probably right that this would be better to keep everything on the same side as it is in the US.

Just will be interesting to see the price from a dealer up there compared to the JDM price with the light included. Now to get a part number.

How much is the oem foglight? I'll be removing it off my 2013 asap after I get the car. I already bought the EVO-Rs, I just want to know how much to ask for.

OEM light is $60. Much cheaper than EVO, but the EVO used LED instead of traditional bulb.
