What size is oil drain plug?

I am gonna do my oil this week and my tools are in storage, so I need to purchase a wrench for the drain plug. I cannot seem to find

Default What size is oil drain plug?

I am gonna do my oil this week and my tools are in storage, so I need to purchase a wrench for the drain plug. I cannot seem to find out what size I will need....not even in the Serv Man! Anybody?

Oil Drain Plug is M12xP1.25 so I'm guessing you'll need a size 12.

12 sounds small...but I did purchase the crush washers today and they are tiny as well

M12 is the bolt shank diameter (i.e. 12 milimeters). Socket sizes are measured "across the flats" so would be larger than 12. Probably closer to 18 milimeter socket size.

Edit: Looking at my machinery's hand book, looks like 18 milimeter socket.
