After installing the FI exhaust, I've got 3 different buzzes:

Low RPM-back of gauge cluster (know where this one is, just haven't figured out how to fix it)

Mid RPM-passenger side dash up by the window. Can't figure this one out.

High RPM (but short) - hatch area-can't find this one even though I've taken all the panels out (stops it) and replaced them (starts again). So I know it's a panel, but can't figure out which one or where. Seems to be coming from different places if you're driver / passenger.

check the plastic/cubby/area behind the passenger seat... I think this is where the majority of my buzzing is coming from.

That was the first place I checked actually. Took out the owners manual and everything to make sure it wasn't that.

Are you sure it is not the exhaust hitting the middle support frame? When I installed my aftermarket exhaust I had to install a bunch of heat metal tape around the mid-frame to stop the rattle.
Definitely not coming from here, I made sure it wasn't coming from under the car plus there was a good bit of clearance when the exhaust was installed.

I also have this sound. it is definitely the hatch plastics
I have all my hatch plastics out and this one buzz remains...

Is it coming from the headliner?

I know this has been hashed and rehashed but just for arguments sake... I installed my ark exhaust and the exhaust was hitting the middle support structure. It would buzz when first starting up the car for about a minute and then go away. And then only buzz in the 2-3k rpm range from then on. The way I verified it was indeed the exhaust was by jacking the car up, getting underneath, and physically shaking the exhaust in several directions and it would make contact. So i loosesened the screws, used my floor jack to push up on the exhaust while I tightened the screws back down.

Humor us by shaking your exhaust while the car is off and you're underneath and confirm that it is indeed not the culprit. Because honestly from inside the car I SWORE that it was coming from inside because you can't hear it from outside - your car is an echo chamber.

I wish that was it... I have been under the car more than I'd like to admit to verify it wasn't that. I recently had to realign the exhaust tips cause when I put them on they weren't straight so I know for sure it's not hitting.

Bringing this back from the dead.. anyone get a fix for this yet or at least find out what it is? I get a rattle at idle (really bad on cold starts) however no other issues while driving the car.. strictly at idle. Driving me nuts!

Put some felt or other thick, soft material (eg, foam tape with sticky on one side) between the panels and body wherever they touch. Will cure almost all interior panel squeaks and rattles.

bringing back the dead post again. was about half year ago I discovered the buzzing was from the trunk latch. I put thread locker on all the bolts. Buzzing stopped for about two months. It recently came back again. I checked the bolts and all of them are super tight. no clue of what's going on at all.

As of now, it doesn't buzz on start but at around 2k rpm when cold. It buzzes less when it gets warm.

BTW, there are so many things going on in Z's trunk! I hear all kinds of noise back there...
