Default Ready for Installation

So I pulled out the face of the fuel/temp gauge. It was easy. Using one hand, don't squeeze too hard and slowly pull it toward you. Once it releases, make sure you are not pulling the light strip that sits just behind the cover. Be aware that Nissan does not sell the gauge cover as an individual part.
I then painted it. It is a big improvement over the silver face.

Now I'm just waiting on the carbon fiber instrument cluster. Yep...just waiting.

There are four tabs/snaps/square thingies, but there was no additional resistance. I'm not saying you should do this, but once it pulls off I immediately stopped the pulling motion and turned it to make sure it was not connected to anything. It wasn't. Masked the window and painted the facade, inside and outside sides. It then snapped back in place.

Default Carbon fiber instrument bezel

Haven't heard anything yet, but considering it's the one interior piece that is most in the visual filed there would be an interest in making it. Gotta be patient.
