They are very time consuming. Thank you for the compliments. :tiphat:

So, it's gonna be a couple of weeks for me to get my pillar, but I wanted to know where would be the best place to get power for the wideband? Don't know were I read it, but it was not recommended to wire the wideband to an Acc wire. Where do you guys normally tap into?

zguynate 02-23-2016 12:57 PM

Can I get a quote on a double pillar gauge shipped to 38002? And a separate one for the cubby for 2 spots? Im trying to figure out what I want to do. I had the gauges in the dash but ill probably be swapping back to factory gauges there for ECUtek. Idk yet.

You can find the necessary sources at the left kick panel fuse panel. Use a multimeter and fuse tap on the needed wires.

Mmmmm. Love the premium pillars.

Jason

You think you could pull off a premium pillar for a G now that you've done a few?

Are you talking about having the same look as the 370z pillar? Yes.

jwick 03-09-2016 12:43 PM

Yes. I like how they have contours and such. Obviously they would be colored like the G but I like how the pod cups are fancy and don't look like cups molded to the pillar.

maro 03-09-2016 05:58 PM

Pm price single silver ring guage and cubby to 85021 thx

I can and should I guess. The only reason I didn't in the first place is because the G37 does't have any of the same design cues. Buuuuut, if it's wanted by the members, I'm more than happy to fabricate it.

They look so sweet I don't think anyone would notice it doesn't flow.

Price for single pod w/ silver ring pillar shipped to 94041. Also what is the price difference if I send you my pillar along with the gauge itself? Planning to use a tanabe 52mm gauge. Thanks.

@GaleForce

Love the A Pillar pods...my questions are:

1) How easy are the A pods to remove?
2) Are the OEM ones trashed when they are removed?

I've been eyeing up a dual pod for years, so this may make me finally pull the plug...

Thanks, and yours look amazing...

I'm not Gale, but I can answer your question....

1) Super easy. Just pull on them and they pop loose. There is a plastic tab that will be tethering the pillar to the chassis once it is loose, just reach in with needle nose pliers and turn it 90 degrees to release it. (This will make sense when you see it).

2) Nope.

here's a snap i took a few weeks back. u can see where the tab is located. use an interior tool and pull the very top of the finisher towards the center of the car.

then take a long (quite long) nose pliers and twist the plastic tab. it's there so when the airbag deploys the finisher dont it ur face. :icon17:

http://www.the370z.com/members/kench...ide-driver.jpg

twist (inside red box 90 degrees).

I'll try and get the gauges stuffed in and shoot some pictures this week. I'm super busy this week but I'll try and get a quick shot of the mount.

THANKS GALEFORCE!
