Hey I'm interested in a black 52mm single pod with the trim ring, if you can pm pricing for that. Not ready to purchase just yet but I'd like an idea . My Z is dying for a boost gauge

Recently I had a friend ask if I could make a custom pillar for his Nismo Juke.

GaleForce, Can you make an A-Pillar to accommodate a Samsung Note 2 phone mounted sideways? I want to run 2 App's on it for a Valentine V1 radar detector and ALP Laser jammers. I will need to be able to run a power cable for the phone through it also. I am trying to find somewhere I can mount the phone so the GPS works well and it is in my field of vision.

Absolutely.

Does your car have the centre cubby, or the nav screen? I ask because I am working on options for that space as well. It might suit your situation.

Spooler 12-15-2015 10:47 PM

Yes, I have a Nismo. The center cubby is used by my sunglasses. Let me place the phone up tomorrow and see how it may look.

Hotrodz 12-15-2015 11:01 PM

My Note 4 fits perfectly in the cubby my friend!

I made a mould of the cubby door for a project that I'm working on for a forum brother. Photos to follow...

Cool, I need my phone to still be able to pic up at least 5 GPS satellites for accuracy. I have retired my Note 2. I have a Note 5 that I use now. This phone will be dedicated for the car. Don't need any speeding tickets you know.

scope22 12-16-2015 06:22 AM

I"m doing similar set up, and i've decided to mount my phone on top of the visor but i've cut the visor in half so it doesn't get in the view but still holds the phone

There is room for a triple, but like you say the upper gauge would be too tight to the roof making it nearly useless.

I just fabricated an option for the cubby area (non-OEM nav). This option is customizable to suit your needs. For example, it can hold a pair of gauges and have a panel for switches, or a docking station for your iPhone, or house 3 52mm gauges horizontally.

This is the base panel ready for customization.

Cubby gauge mount shipped to 35749, please.

Awesome as always Mr. Gale

YzGyz 02-18-2016 03:28 PM

I made my own pod set up. IT TOOK FOREVER and lots of trial and error to get the look I wanted. With my diy insight and comparison to Gale's pics, I can say his stuff it top notch! Gales pods are clean! Heck, everything he does is clean and top level!

YzGyz

zguynate 02-18-2016 04:36 PM

That cubby pod is LEGIT! I'll be looking into that as an option.
