How did you remove the refill for the stock blade? I'm having a hard time removing it. At one end it says "Tip" and the other "Lock." Does it matter

I'm having a hard time removing it. At one end it says "Tip" and the other "Lock." Does it matter which side you try to take the refill out from? I saw 2 metal sticks inside the refill, what am I suppose to do with that?
