dont worry about the dud man... just unplug it and leave it unplugged... your wiring diagram is correct man... tapped the parking light and your all set.... just becareful when

dont worry about the dud man... just unplug it
 and leave it unplugged...your wiring diagram is correct man... tapped the parking light and your all set.... just becareful when taking out the 10mm bolts man and yes you can do all this with out taking out the panels....
