Default New Parts - Titanium/Aluminum Bezels

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here but please let me know if I am.

I've been looking at the triple gauge cluster and don't like how the sliver rings around the gauges look plastic and cheap.

To clarify, this piece: (Part number 68236)
http://www.the370z.com/attachments/d...294.288264.jpg

^stolen from the DIY- Thanks

So I talked to someone about making them out of titanium or aluminum.

I have never seen this done before but if anyone has or has pictures please post them.

So far all the information I have is that it seems possible.

This thread is only to figure out what kind of interest would be out there for ordering these metal bezels.

Still have no idea about a price or turn around time etc...

Please post any ideas, what you think, how much you would be willing to pay for something like this.... anything goes.

If there is a ton of interest I will look into the shop becoming a vendor or group buys and so on but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

What do you guys think?

if you can take it off and not happy with the color, why not just paint it?

I might pay like 20 bucks per at most. They'd have to be perfect fitment.

I'd pay over $100 for those, plus the door handles and shifter area. Basically everywhere with the crappy looking silver paint.
Well I could probably reason myself into doing $100+ for a set of actual aluminum door handles on the inside and outside, including the lock/unlock button, since I actually come in contact with those every day. Poor fitment would definitely be a dealbreaker though, no matter how low the price is.

I agree. I would buy a set of replacement silver trim in SS or aluminum.

No doubt. I'd buy metal handles in a heartbeat. Such a complex shape though. They'd probably have to be milled from a single block or hydroformed?

I'd love burned titanium bezels for the gauges! And ditto on the door handles.
