Removing the front grill?

Will it look cool if i remove the front grill using a dremel and leave it with a big mouth with the radiator exposed? Its much easier to clean my

Will it look cool if i remove the front grill using a dremel and leave it with a big mouth with the radiator exposed? Its much easier to clean my cold air filter but will it look good?

it actually looks cleaner than with grills , i wonder if i need to paint the fang.

The tow hook would be the biggest problem.

The black tow hook covered it nicely on Triple's.

I would either paint it black or cover it somehow.

Cutting out the grill and having a big sliver chunk of metal hanging out wouldn't look good at all IMO.

However, if covered up, I like the look.

Quite a few people have done this, some to more extremes than others. I think I will be doing this soon to show a little more of the intercooler.

Yeah I don't think I like it with the top removed... Anyone got a picture with it done like Triples and a FMIC?

bumping old thread but looking for a different option for ducting to my G3 filters. seems like i could cut out the "mustache" and bring some fresh air in. combine with hood risers to let warm air out up top. anyone have input on intake temps with the grill deleted?

Zero difference removing grill; however, I added oil and AT coolers at the same time which would cut down on flow to the radiator.
