We have come to a point that most people will call you rice if your car have any race-proven exterior parts installed... people who are afraid to mod their own car, who try to keep it clean even though is not their original choice, just because other may call it rice.

If the OP needs actual downforce, a wing is required. A fancy CF steering wheel or alcantara interior won't do the job. A car like the 370z needs spirit, something that defines it's style, some people might go minimalistic with exterior modifications, a tiny lip, tiny wing, even painted CF (thus defeating the lightweight purpose), super clean everything, and they all recieve rave comments "oh so clean, oh so conservative, oh so stock...". But are the RAW, aggressive looking Z with personality which makes you say "wow it's hot"...

Saying such exterior modification is pointless because it's a road car, is like saying why you spent $3000 in your TE37SL, if you don't compete in world class races?
