dang, never heard of people needing to use a strap wrench to TIGHTEN the knob. as mr.gale suggested, i also used a plastic washer inside the boot to hold the

dang, never heard of people needing to use a strap wrench to TIGHTEN the knob.
 as mr.gale suggested, i also used a plastic washer inside the boot to hold the boot up flush to the base of the PWJDM shiftknob collar.  it's a great knob
