Painted a random hood today.

This is the hood I painted...close up. Very stange aluminum.

I guess its cool though. From certain angles it looks ok.

Better pics instore with a camera not inside of a 4 year old cell phone are on the way.

Also when I say "I painted" I really mean "I payed people to paint my hood"

here is mine... except i cut my oem hood and fit the cf gtr scoops in... couldnt afford the real hood thats why

might do it soon again though... i miss em...

Looks identical! That was a good fab up simota. Red gtr 370z carbon buddy.

This is exactly what I wanted to do... the guy on here that sells them said you can't paint carbon fiber. And like an idiot not knowing I listened. Look at that hood. Beautiful. Now that I know I will have it painted when I can get the money again. I really love this look.

Wow, that looks very nice! Prob is, I don't want a full CF hood and would rather keep the stock hood. It needs useful vents!

I don't know how useful the vents are. I would assume that witout a way to increase the air leaving the engine bay, it's mostly for looks.
