plasti dip color fading

I want to remove the paint just in case thats why I wanna go with plasti dip. lol
What if I finish with Rustoleum clear coat wheel paint after platidip?

i dont recommend that unless you know exactly wat the composition is on the plasti-dip and the rustoleum paint.

the thing about rustoleum is they're known to have some strong metal/rust eating features to lockout rust. i'd imagine that chemical will eat through the plasti-dip? not sure.

instead, how about using that clear plasti-dip stuff? does that have UV protection? i'd study that first.

clearcoat does not necessarily mean it can protect from UV. read the label carefully before you apply.

Clear coat doesn't work well on plasti dip, but that may be partly because I tried it in 100*+ weather. Plasti dip has a new glossifier which might help.
