Jack Stands / Floor Jack

Spend a couple of bucks more and get a low profile aluminum jack. You might have problems getting one of those cheap sears ones under the car.

Aluminum Floor Jack - 1.5 Ton Aluminum Racing Jack

Aluminum Jack Stands - 3 Ton

The racing jacks are light too. Word of warning, these jacks can lift the car quickly and they will also release quickly, so just be careful when you're twisting the handle to lower.

Anyone have the 1.5 ton jack? Any issues with it fitting under our lowered Z?

It looks like the one that I have only mine has LED's. It works for me, but I'm only lowered about an inch, if you are lowered aggressively then look for a low-profile jack.

Bad reviews tho -

I was looking for something that I can use to jack up a Nismo and get some jack stands under it so I can change the oil and do regular maintenance - nothing fancy.

I have it... I'm at stock height but there is plenty of room to spare. I also took a hockey puck and dremelled the center so that I don't damage the pinch welds..

My only criticism is it doesn't seem to lift very fast unless you do a full pump motion (that's what she said)... most of the lift is at the way bottom of the pump if you follow what I'm saying.

Have you tried lifting from the middle-front lift point to get both front wheels off the ground at the same time? Or only corner by corner?

I feel like there would be clearance issues - especially with the front lip spoiler that comes with the sport. Unless, of course, you drive up on some 2x4s...

There is no way I can get it far enough in without hitting something... I suppose if you ran it up on some 4x4s then maybe but I haven't tried that. I'd be hard pressed to find a jack long enough to be able to do that with a low profile but it might exist.

Damn that's what I thought... would have made life a little easier.

Hopefully I can reach it through the wheel well.

I have a Nismo - so may need to get up some 2x4's for the body kit. Thanks - I'll get the harbor freight jack and see if that works.

Yes, you'll need a little boost to reach the center jack point. A 2x4 should be enough.
