Anyone use these? Or know if the saddle top would damage the safety stand point?

Another alternative are these.

ESCO 3-ton Flat Top Jackstand (ea)(Freight Exception!) - ESCO Jackstands

Oh, and no complaining about these having locking pins. I've already heard that argument.

Booooo, I was hoping for a DIY guide for jack stands. (i.e. you posted in the wrong section )

The second one is probably a better bet for not damaging the jack points.

Get a nice piece of HAR WOOD! and cut it from a 4X4 or something big enough to cover stand top. The car will slightly mark the wood but who gives a sh!t car is untouched!
