Help! Just bought 370z Needs Paint Work!

Sounds like the clearcoat has etched through in a few places. I'm not really sure if it's possible for them to remove the clear safely, then re-clear the car. How

Sounds like the clearcoat has etched through in a few places.

I'm not really sure if it's possible for them to remove the clear safely, then re-clear the car. How many panels are affected? It might be easier for the dealership just to have the affected panels repainted.

It's actually little bits and pieces around the car. On the trunk by the spoiler, on the front left fender, top part of the hood. It seems to be scattered.
