Lightbulb STi-R Clear Lens Mod + painted housing

Ever since seeing the amazing cutoff my friend (username "paperboy42190" on a bunch of forums) had on his TL-S with the ZKW clear lens, I've always wanted my lights to be like his. This past weekend, I finally had some time and I went up to LA to have him work on my lights, and here are the results!

Before:

After:

Not only that the cutoff line is distint, light output is much better! Even with the stock Koito bulbs, they're amazing. I am extremely satisfied with this mod

Edit: sorry for the bad phone camera pics, but I think the difference is still pretty distint..

Here's a couple pics of my painted housing:

I will post more details and pictures on my build thread later

Love it man. I hate the cutoff of the stock lenses. I run TSX projectors in my other car, and I hate coming back to these.

Are the STi-R lenses a direct fit? I might consider them...

Yep- they are.

The light output with these lenses is great- not to mention the different colors they put out based on what angle you're seeing the car. Purple, white, blue, pretty cool.

OP, nice pics

They were $50 from theretrofitsource.com. I think you can buy a slightly cheaper version for $35 as well (it gave me the option to take 15$ off for a cheaper version when I checked out)

Welcome to the upgraded lens club!

The headlight looks really cool, but I'm not too crazy about the mod overall. I'm still getting used to the purple reflection from road signs lol.
