Interior Panels

I have noticed how easily the panel such as the door and even the dash get scuffed. Does anyone know of a remedy to minimize the appearance of such scuffs? I tried washing it and applied 303 Aero but it didn't really do much for the actual scuff marks.

you have to apply Aero303 BEFORE getting any scuffs for maximum effectiveness.

first thing i did when i got my Z was do a wipe down with Prima Nero which is similar to 303 but even less glossy. no scuffs at all.

the thing is that these scuff are like scrapes I guess you could say - when I ran my fingers over it I can tell it took some of the material I will try to post pics

Yeah, if you can feel them, that's tough. Problem is that you really need to take away material to smooth them out - but then it's impossible to match the texture.
I've heard of high-end detailers doing it by smoothing it out, heating it up and then using a textured stamp / plate to recreate the texture (think concrete stamping), but I don't think it's a DIY or anything.
If I get one where there is a ridge of material I'll just take an Xacto and carefully trim off the ridge / burr. Makes it less obvious at least.

this sounds harsh but the best remedy for scratches and scuffs in plastic panels is to "get over it" really, theres nothing short of replacing the panel that will help. applying 303 or similar products helps if you do it early and continue to do it. but once material is scraped off its forever.

I have used my fingernail to scrape away and improve the look of any scratches to the point where you can barely notice it. Try it as long as it is not too deep!

It looks awesome, but resin can be scratched pretty easily as well. I like the look of the dry CF, but one scratch and you will have to polish it out, leaving that one spot shiny. The best way I guess would be to get the CF already polished and then if you get a scratch you can get a little mild polishing compound out and take it out pretty easily.

Our parts are clear coated, regardless if Matte Finish or Glossy

so you dont scratch the resin, you would be scratching the clear out. Same as the outside of your car.
