Agreed. If I do get a hood, Im painting the whole thing. Ztoon did his right. In my opinion carbon showing is just too much. I guess if you have a show car then you want some "toe" coming through. Its either fully painted or not painted at all. I think only black and white cars can pull off the full carbon hood. I wouldn't, but it can look clean.
