Soundproofing the wheel wells?

Damn, I thought it would have worked well. I checked around for posts on it but didn't find any. I wonder what the effect would be on road grit making

I checked around for posts on it but didn't find any. I wonder what the effect would be on road grit making noise in the wells? (I will search around a bit more )
