even 5% is illegal, you cant tell its tinted. Majority of guys here do it and companies even offer 0% tint but with 80% infrared protection.

I was told original alcantara doesnt fade?

Alcantara probably would best, it will not fade as much and holds tighter through extreme temperatures.

your tint scale is backwards... the percentages are supposed to reflect how much light is allowed in... i.e. 5% = limo tint and 95% is almost clear. Tinting the windshield would help however make sure you are above 60% tint or else cops will know right off the bat that its tinted... I got pulled over yesterday by a cop who saw my front windshield (which is 60%) from over 200ft away going the opposite direction. I got a ticket but luckily here in ga its like a $60 fine so I am like whatever lol

I have tint on my windshield and have done the same on last two cars and wifey's car, never a ticket!! Must be that side of town Mike!!
Mike can you do baseball glove leather with stitching on the dash???

I have 55% tint on my windshield and have been pulled over twice for not displaying a license plate on the front of my vehicle. They never bring up the tint....weird.
