Leather/Suede care

What's everyone using for the fabulous Red interior? Also, any ideas on keeping the mats perfect?

I don't have the red, but I've used Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine clean. The two together are amazing. To get the best results, you'd have to take a couple of days with these products. I used them on my parents' 20 year old Volvo and the seats looked almost new when I finished.

The only way to keep the floor mats perfect is by not using them and replacing them.

I took my 40th Anniversary mats out immediately (they are in a closet) and replaced them with Nissan mats (with the metal Z). These mats are much thicker and seem to be lasting pretty well (they are a year old).

Same with me. Took mine out and got base set. But would like to hear any suggestions for the door panels.

Alcantara

They have good cleaning tips. I have used them and the fabric looked mint after a nice brushing. Now I just want to get some kind of sealant or protectant to use on it next time I do a full interior cleaning.

Yes. I think I paid a little less than that though -- like $90 delivered. Check this link:

thanks. 105 was the list price on Nissanusa.com. I will probably call the local dealership see how much they quote me if not will go with your recommendation.

i have the grey interior and my door handle (on the panel) was stained (for about 3 days), and i finally got around to cleaning it.

I used 100% lemon juice (in one of those containers that are shaped like a lemon) and dabbed it right on the stain. let it sit for about 15 seconds and preceded to dab luke wark water on it and then brushed away with a microfiber towel. brushed pretty hard too, basically using friction to dry the stain. let it sit over night.

stain is 90% gone, noone but myself would notice it. just throwing it out there

Thanks for update Econ! I plan on trying basically the same thing like it says on the alcantara website to do! I plan on using a soft bristled brush (tooth brush) to brush/scrub it out...... I only need to do my drivers side door though so I hope it goes well!

Hmm I was reading up on that, and it says not recommended for use on Leather. What is everybody using to clean their interior?
