Not issue at all with visibility at all during night driving, not too dark, just perfect as I don't feel the stares as much this way.

During the day its like having sunglasses on.
During the night you can't even tell it's tinted.

It comes in handy at all times. I hate people coming towards you with high beams on.

Question for you guys. I got them done Saturday and as i went to leave i noticed a bunch of bubbles on the rear window. I asked the guy what was up with them and he said they are normal because of moisure and that they would go away in up to 10 days. Ive heard conflicting things on this, some say its totally normal, some say to go back right away. Any opinions? I figure if he told me to wait the 10 days, ill wait and then go back. Some bubbles have gone away but there are still a bunch...

First post to this forum. Bought my 370Z in May. Tinted my windows the next day. I've always had a little darker than they should - 5% on the rear, 20% on the doors. Skipped the stripe across the windshield. Hint: there's a power window reset. Found that out afterwards. Spent a day rolling up the driver window from passenger side.

Took about 2 weeks for all the bubbles to disappear. Otherwise perfect and no complaints.

Hmm not good Pelican. Take pics of the damage, receipts, any proof of your visit for the second time. Get a friend who has the appropriate lawyer verbiage and threaten the shop to report to BBB and leave bad reviews on the web. You should have them replace your glass at a place of your choice and reimburse you for tint work. FYI windshield for our car is around $1200 unless you want to get the cheap kind.

Yea, well fortunately I have emails showing they retinted. I am going to call them shortly because now he is not returning my emails to tell him I have talked to 3 glass places for quotes. Im going to take pics tonight and having the glass replaced tomorrow. Im going to keep the glass also just for proof to see that the scratch went along with the curve of the window. Then going to tell him to at least pay for the cost of glass or im going to small claims court and BBB... $380 for the passenger window replaced...

I would probably hold off on fixing any glass and have them commit to paying for anything/paying for damages first. That's just me. Good luck with the process.

Yea I hear ya, but the way that shop is acting, I doubt they will even talk to me again and at this point, im so frustrated i just want it fixed and ill bring it somewhere else to get the 1 window retinted.

Question, do you think that if another shop retints the one window, their is any difference in matching since they are probably from another film maker? Make sense?

If you go with same % and same film, you won't see any difference.

Well, seems like around here every shop uses a different manufacturer of film. I obviously would be getting the same %
