Default flat-bottomed steering wwheel mod???

I love my steering wheel on my Z, and I wouldn't want to replace it. But I would love to customize it. Like re-wrap to make it just a lil thicker or maybe even convert it to a flat-bottomed steering wheel. I think that would really add the right touch to this car cuz its so damn race car like. Besides the car is pretty low and makes it a lot easier to enter and exit.
I'm just curious if anyone would like to see this in the refresh or would even consider doing this as a mod??? Or do you don't like flat bottom steering wheels???. I would love the forum opinion.

I like the steering wheel but wouldve been better if it was a bit smaller imo.

With a conversion you can make it smaller. But it would probably change shape somwhat, giving it a slightly squared look.

That's kool but I was thinking maybe something that either matches our exterior colors or our interiors. Carbon fiber isn't everyones taste.

It was more to show the flat bottom.

Tony can do it in a black fiberglass as well for those that don't want the carbon look, but then again who wouldn't want CF? The flat bottom is def something I wanted when I started the project.

I think the flat bottom is alot nicer...Alot of aftermarket wheels have flat bottoms and look much more racecar like i guess u could say...flattening the bottom is as simple as stripping and cutting the metal the wheel is made of(thats all i do).....Stitching back up and/or fiberglassing or cf'ing is where the time and $$ is going to be. So im all for flattening
