at first i tried with a microfibre clothe and attempted to turn it from the top of the knob. the clothe just kept spinning on the knob no matter how much i tightened the wrench strap around it.

so i went at it from the base of the knob w/o the clothe and badabing! it started to turn...so slowly but surely little turn by turn by turn by turn...

and eventually i was able to turn it by hand, and finally removing it.
