Carbon Signal and UA motorsports both offer CF and FRP versions of this kit. Forums members seem pleased with products from either company so it's up to you to decide which you prefer, but the pricing and quality of both seem excellent.

CarbonSignal, UAM Motorsports sell carbon fiber replica kits. 370zTune sells the original kit from Powerhouse Amuse. In my opinion, just get the original. I spent a lot of money getting mine to look 100%. Although I'm very happy with the way it looks and cannot point out 1 flaw, I spent a lot getting it to look like that.

I'd like to have someone chime in that has the real amuse kit to see how much work was needed to make it fit perfectly.

I don't know why people think a lot if work is involved as my whole CF kit was done in a weeks time and installer didn't complain about anything

Man Im not a bodyshop guy, and would like to hear in details from Simota and seeyabud if they had any issues or why so much work required as seeyabud said.

But as far as I know prepping is required same as for any other bodykit and I thought if my installer did the whole kit in a week's time it should be an easy job

*DISCLAIMER - I wanted mine to be 100% perfect. I had my installer go above and beyond to make it look amazing. I didn't want it to look like I put on some random rear bumper. I wanted it to have an OEM feel but more aggressive. Thats why I had it painted a little different, and so much work put into it.

The kit is great quality. I just want everyone to know that before I start explaining what exactly my installer did.

There is no bracket for the trunk opener on the cf rears. So, my installer custom made a bracket for that which has better fitment now than it did before.

He also made a a fiberglass piece to cover up the hole that is in the license plate area. After he did that, he didn't like how the entire bumper felt a little "weak" compared to the area around the fiberglass that he put in the plate area. So, he reinforced other areas with more fiberglass to cut down on vibration and make it have more of an OEM feel.

Then, he made more brackets so this bumper literally comes on and off as easy as the OEM bumper did. It has the exact "hook ons."

Another thing that I did not want to have with this bumper is the white that some previous customers have in the vent areas. This is because there is a foam piece that is behind the stock bumper for safety reasons (I guess). The foam won't fit the Amuse rear, so most people shave it down. I didn't want him to do that. So he painted the whole rear of the car black, so no matter what angle you look at the vents all you see is black underneath it. Its a much cleaner look. Here is a picture:

One of the hardest parts with this project was in fact matching the paint. Its because of the pearl in the PW. Too much pearl, and you get a yellowish tint to the part. As most of you know this was an issue from the dealer and most people with the pearl whites had to at least get 1 body part repainted to match the rest. My installer spent a long time making sure he got the right shade of pearl white as this was my MAIN concern. I wanted it to match perfectly or I couldn't look at it everyday. The Florida sun is pretty much always out so the pearl always shows, if it wasn't perfect you could tell from a mile away the paint was off. My installer also polished it so much that you cannot tell a difference from the feel of the paint on the other body pieces.

So, custom brackets and some minor drilling is good enough to get it installed. I just wanted mine to look perfect, because I'm anal (lol) about body kits. I wanted it to look like the car came that way, even though everyone knows its not OEM. I think my installer achieved that. The attention to detail everywhere is what really makes this bumper shine.

Just get the real one man, if I can go back? I would buy the real one instead.
Pay more for the real one, but less on body work, came out the same amount of money in the end
