Default Sun Visor

This may sound strange, but I want to remove the mirror & light from the driver's side visor. I want to inset a monitor for the rear view camera.

I thought about simply using velcro to attach the monitor, but then I would not be able to get the visor to lay flat against the headliner.

Anyone know how the visor is put together? The service manual does not have that level of detail.

Thanks,

rangercarol

would the LCD be too heavy and the visor flaps down each time you hit a bump?

maybe just rubberband it to the rear view mirror?
