I've seen oil temps around 210-220 on cool days too, city driving, of course average temps are around 180-190.... I would think that's normal and well within operating range.

Thank you for the pics! I was looking at this last night wondering if I could just screw it directly into the plastic. I still don't think I'm willing to put any holes even in the plastic piece, but I'm glad to see it's an option.

Thanks for the Pics, it looks nice and clean! I actually ordered the stillen plate to other day, but I wont know how i like it until i actually see it on my car. If its not for me, then i will go your route for sure!
