In the past I've used scotch clear tape and put it over my military decal making sure to provide overlap on all sides. Then I used a razor blade to gently remove it. The tape holds everything in one pice. Not sure if your inspection sticker will come off the same though. As your inspection sticker is on the inside this may not be the optimal method of removal but none the less is an option. Good Luck!

that's a good idea. i would put a layer of clear packing tape, trace gently around the sticker with a razor to cut off the excess, then take your razor and gently peel off the decal from the windshield in one piece.

in the future, you can get clear static cling sheets and use that to stick your inspection sticker on, and static cling it to the winshield for easy removal.

A good source of static cling sheets is ink jet clear vinyl stickers from office supply store.
