i guess it would be called a UIY (Undo it yourself). i searched around on googled and found a lot of vids and articles of how to remove your tints. If you're trying to find a plass to pass your inspection, can't help you there.

That sux man. I'm planning on taking the tint off in 2013 (when I get inspection) and have the shop put it back again the same week. Sometimes, if you tell your tint shop you're going to have the tint put on in their shop, they may waive the removal fee completely. In my area, if I do go to these "special" shops for inspection with tint, it costs 100-120 anyway. So, I rather get new tint for $175.

Good luck man.

Wait, what? Why do you have to get it inspected in MD if the car is registered in NC?

No need to remove tint.

There is no law that states you even have to have side windows.....

Roll the windows down, remove the fuse for the power windows, tell them the power windows went out, get inspected, leave, put fuse back in, roll windows back up.

Inspected.

They will most likely know what you're up to, but it doesn't matter, not illegal to have broken power windows.

And we call that "STICKING IT TO THE MAN!"

nice lol, here in NJ i think we can only fail inspection now for emissions. i think tint maybe still be illegal but passable in inspection like in PA
