Default JDM Rear Fog lamp kit from Courtesy

Hello fellow members,

I have been growing interest on installing a rear fog light on my Z. I know I will never really use it but putting this where it was designed to go just seams like the right thing to do

I was looking around and came across this kit from Courtesy. I have never seen this particular kit and wanted to share it. I also noticed they said the car is "pre-wired". Can anyone that has installed theirs Fog light confirm this?

Here is the link:

The stalk seems to be reversed for us, blinker on the right, wiper on the left. JDM

Yep, it is JDM so it was designed for right hand drive.

I don't think it would be hard to get used to?

I don't believe the car is pre-wired.
I installed the Zsource light and harness on mine.

That would be better but I just so happened to come across the JDM model. They don't carry the Canadian one as far I I know.

I am going with the switch that mounts by the heater switches. I will just make my own harness

The canadian version would do the trick but I'm not sure how to order it. If someone would kindly call a canadian dealer for us, please let us know the cost. The stalk combo switches list for $140 on Courtesy parts.

I'm wondering if my wife's Altima combo stalks would work on the Z. They have the fog light switch (front fogs), but I don't know if the switch is wired to the same BCM switch as the Z rear fog. If I can find an Altima service manual, I'll investigate.

The Canadian combo switches are still the way to go. Come on Canadian Z owners....help us out!

how about you just buy the lamp and make your own harness and switch? much easier to do imho.

The stalks are nice, but I got my switch in the center console area, around where seat heater switches and the roadster top up/down switch would be. It's the kit from ZSource.

That is what I decided to do. I already have everything I need on order, including the fog light

That kit is nice but over priced IMO. I found these that would work good even though I am doing my harness from scratch.

nice! GL with the install. it's the way to go...

but shadoquad's approach is good if you have the heated seats buttons already populated in those dummy switches. then you got 3 factory switches.

mine's a base so only blanks... got the aftermaket rockers.

I went with the Surf N Turf Rocker Switch ON/OFF with amber LED from: Rocker Switches

I already have a relay and some fusible links. I ordered a relay adapter plug harness to keep the install clean.

Kenchan- do you have any tips for the install
