I believe you on the weight. I had one on my 350 and there was only like two pounds difference. I would recommend hood pins though. I had them on

I believe you on the weight. I had one on my 350 and there was only like two pounds difference. I would recommend hood pins though. I had them on mine, even though I never saw any malfunction with my latch system. Opened and closed fine with some tweaking But there were several cases on the 350z forums where this happened. Small price to pay for security.
