splash guards or not?

I like them, they are a nice little touch and complete the look of the car IMO. Mine didn't come with the splash guards so I ordered some...and on my

Mine didn't come with the splash guards so I ordered some...and on my way back from the dealership it looks like I'll need them to protect the rocker panels (esp. behind the front tires).
