A-Pillar Gauge Pods?

Removing the dash requires 36 steps, all outlined in the service manual. It doesn't look difficult...just very involved. How did they install the Defi gauges without dash removal? They must

It doesn't look difficult...just very involved. How did they install the Defi gauges without dash removal? They must have torn the stock gauges to shreds getting them out from above and then just glued everything back together. Barf.
