Hahaha Fitment issues is normal for modding cars. Doing work arounds is usual stuff. After I bent that lip ledge thingie down its been a lot better. If you remove the battery cover id be even better. I might just remove the battery cover and surround all together, but keep the rubber seal strip as is. The damper is very convenient for me cause I pop the hood often to connect my battery manager during the week.
