I would shave it. Dealership owner did advise me against it because if not done very well the filler tends to crack easily because of the plastic bumper

Ok after 2 weeks its all done.. (i took my time) Still not done, need to fully wax the car

Do you happen to know about how much this cost?
I got an estimate from an auto body shop near me and they quoted about $730 because I guess our bumpers are very picky. I'm ready to just do it myself but want to have that professional look to it |

Evercoat makes the same kind of stuff that will work in a regular caulking gun. Both products are made for this situation and are not supposed to shrink or crack. Best bet is to find a autobody supply store and tell them what you're planning on doing. Or, pony up the $750 to have the Bodyshop do it all.
