It isnt as much the feeling as the aesthetic. I think it would look very very cool to do that whole section including the plastic bit around the emergency button

It isnt as much the feeling as the aesthetic. I think it would look very very cool to do that whole section including the plastic bit around the emergency button in brushed aluminium or stainless steel, whatever. I think it would change the whole look. I doubt it would be that hard for a custom shop to measure out and replicate something like the picture above for a couple hundred.
