no, that isn't the stillen mesh. I got the stillen mesh, but they didn't have the side vents done, only the main opening, so I had to fabricate my own. I need to see it in person still, and not in photos, but worst case, once Stillen finalizes the side mesh, I will order it and replace. Theirs is thicker, but I had to work with what I could get locally to get it back on the road. Hopefully, its just the flash of the camera that makes everything stand out.

As for cost painted, I don't really know, since its part of a larger crash repair. With shipping and the grill, Stillen charge was roughly 700.

If you wouldn't mind, for all of us here, could you ask the repair shop what the line-item cost was for the bumper install? Thanks again for all the pics, and for being the dreaded guinea-pig. +1 rep

I'm guessing the flash of the camera has a lot to do with that. I had a 2005 Nissan Titan with a mesh grill and intercooler behind it. Driving around town or just taking normal pictures you could not see the intercooler. Get that flash in there and the grill looked like wax paper and you could see straight through it...It was really weird.

Our fascia is heading out to paint tomorrow along with the rockers, roof wing, and deck wing. I should have it back in about a week or so and will have photos ready for everyone.

yup if the "key on" is activated with anything involving the air bag system unplugged it will fault and that's the quick way to get it to figure out everything's fine once you hook everything back up. i had to do this when i put in my D3 and then again a few weeks ago when i forgot to hook up the passenger seat after taking both out for cleaning. works like a champ it's the same for frontier's, just with Key On, Engine Off cycles instead of the push button thing

Concerning the big gaping hole in the front. Josh from stillen did say in the announcement that stillen would be making a modular fang piece that will function as brake ducts. That will go a long way to fill the hole.

Definitely.. and remember too the one shot is at ground level.. which you're virtually never at.. and Kyle mentioned the flash potentially eliminating any mesh.

Also remember the point of this fascia, from our design beginnings.. function

The amount of airflow this fascia provides, both with the large opening in the front, the scoops on the sides and coolers, the diversion path below the top of the opening to Gen 3's, supercharger, as well as the modular ducting soon available for brake ducting...

But it looks fantastic Mike.. can't wait to see some real world pics once you get it back..

I really like it a lot.

The only thing I would have changed (and maybe this is a little nit pick) if I were Stillen is how much it tappers in as you go from the fender to the bottom lip. What I love about the Nismo facia is how vertically it goes straight down when you look at it from the front giving the car a wider look. You don't see any tire from the front view. But again that looks awesome.
