Tacking sound from hood comes and goes

Hello guys,

Lately I'm hearing some tacking sound coming from under my hood that comes and goes. I can't figure out what is it.

I remember seing some pictures in tech area of the forum regarding vent wings in the hood, but I can't find those. Anybody have same kind of sound coming from the hood?

wat's a tacking sound and when does it come and go?

i have this thing on in this certain area and makes this like noise. what do you guys think it is?

the franzplatz has come loose from the shindinhooger again....

is it a fast paced ticking sound like from the motor? Our motors make a good bit of noise already. Keep a camera with you and the next time it starts to happen film it. Even if you have to pull off the road.

Watch this video on youtube I just uploaded. First video is the one with noise is there then it is gone.

This one is with constant noise

Any help is appreciated. I want to get your opinion before I walk to dealer.

I have this exact noise and for me it happens when oil temps reach round 190-205. Im told its normal, but it sucks I have to say. Probably my only gripe with the car. Check out this link..

Knocking normal?
