I did the same thing using flat adhesive pads used for furniture. I got the ones that fit perfectly in the indented area. It’s been 3 years and the hatch

I did the same thing using flat adhesive pads used for furniture. I got the ones that fit perfectly in the indented area. It’s been 3 years and the hatch still opens correctly every time.
